# Art × Georgia

> Art × Georgia is the portrait painting practice of Georgia Sapounas, a sports portrait painter who makes original acrylic-on-canvas paintings of professional athletes, plus nature-inspired floral pieces. Original works and a limited number of custom portrait commissions are available.

Georgia Sapounas paints athletes. Her portraits aim to capture presence and the emotional charge behind performance, translating sport into texture, color, and story. She works inside professional sports by day, which gives her an insider's perspective on the people and moments that shape the game. Outside of sport, her practice explores form and movement through florals and other nature-inspired work. The site's own description places her as a sports portrait painter based in Toronto.

Name to use: "Art × Georgia" (also written "Art x Georgia" or "Art X Georgia"). The artist is Georgia Sapounas.
